XXV WEEK OF THE ITALIAN LANGUAGE IN THE WORLD

"ITALIAN BEYOND BORDERS: ADOPT A WORD!" CONTEST

The Week of the Italian Language in the World (SLIM) will be titled "Italofonia: Language Beyond Borders." The Consulate General of Italy in Houston and the San Francisco School Office are organizing a contest inspired by this year's theme for students in Italian programs at middle and high schools in the Houston consular district.

The competition aims to celebrate the linguistic, cultural, and social space of Italian, imagining a community of people around the world, united by a passion for our language. The goal is to enhance the various expressions of Italian in different communicative contexts.

Here you can find the competition announcement with all the details and which schools can participate. Entries must be received by December 8, 2025. School teachers will send the video clip to concorsoslim@gmail.com.
